The Margot Fonteyn Academy of Ballet is the educational arm of the National Arts Group. The history of this Academy is detailed in the various sub-topics on this website.

The structure of the governing bodies of this Academy were formed by Dame Margot herself, and the founding members of the Artistic Advisory Committee were hand-picked by Fonteyn. She wanted to assure that all decisions were made by established and respected artists of the highest caliber. This is not for the sake of notoriety, but rather to receive guidance from those who have achieved the most accomplishment in their respective art forms. It is that view from the top, by accomplished masters of art, that assures the very best guidance for the Academy.
