Irena Kosovic received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Zagrev in Croatia. She attended the Masters of Fine Arts degree program at the Memphis College of Arts in Tennessee.

She has been featured in group exhibitions in Croatia before she moved to the United States in 1997. Currently she is pursuing a full time artist career through new media and via the internet. Her work can be seen on the internet at

As the world of art is evolving its Internet identity, Irena is finding her niche along with the growing online arts community. She brings a fresh approach to art, but is based in the classical education she received in Europe. She teaches some of the drawing and expressive art courses in the Lower School, as well as Art History.
