Currently, MFAB is placing full energy and resources into developing the Academy from the ground up. As such, the only public programs are available to young children (ages 6-8) with Creative Movement and Introduction to Ballet offered on Saturdays. Other than these, there is a class for professional dancers every morning of the week from 11:30am until 2:00pm, and on Saturdays from 10:30am until noon. Advanced level students may take this class with permission of the director at a fee of $25 per class. For current or retired professional dancers, however, the class is offered free of charge.

If there are prospective students who audition for the Academy but are not yet ready for that level of work, arrangements can be made for these students to take ballet classes with the Academy students, by permission of the Director. These students will not be allowed to take the General Arts courses, or participate in any of the Academy functions, presentations, performances or ceremonies.

MFAB plans to begin offering public ballet classes to non-Academy students in the future. For inquiries call the MFAB number, write, or send an email via the information in the banner of this webpage.

To contribute to any of the current MFAB programs or future projects, send your contribution check with the specific program clearly indicated in the memo line. Otherwise, contributions will be accepted for general operating expenses. All contributions are fully tax-deductible.
